Poor service and service charged for but NOT provided
Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. Association for Research and Enlightenment的点评
点评：I went to this place, Edgar Cayce's ARE Health Center & Spa, today December 19, 2024 , with my partner. He recommended the place even though he has not been there before.
I booked for deep tissue massage and facial. I was quoted $152 for one hour massage and 30 minutes facial. I told the woman who was making the booking that I needed longer time for the facial as I needed face steaming and extraction of blackheads.
I was told they do not do face steaming but use clay mask to soften the pores for extractions. I was charged an additional $73 for the extra 15 minutes for the facial. and extraction of blackheads.
The massage was not what I expected, it was mediocre - below standard; but the lady tried.
The facial was an ordinary facial, no blackhead extractions. I asked the technician why she did not do any extractions; she said she does not do extractions because she is not qualified to do that. I explained to her that I specifically requested the extraction of blackheads when I booked. She apologized and stated that I was the second person to make that complaint, that she will talk to the lady who made the booking
I explained to the Cashier when I went to pay for the treatment that the treatment was shortened and no extractions were done; and requested a refund for the extra 15 minutes and the extraction charge. She called the Manager who told her that they can not give me a refund because the service has already been provided.
No! Complete service was NOT provided. Why did they charge for services that they do not have the ability to provide? I was given a 26 minutes ordinary facial and no extractions instead of the 45 minutes that I paid $73 extra for.
The whole experience was a total let down and a waste of $225.
Will I go there again or recommend anyone?

They do not have professional integrity
