点评:I’ve just come back from the Positive Energy Retreat at Q Station and it was honestly such a great weekend.
What I liked most was that it genuinely centred around being outside and connecting, not just talking about wellness, but actually doing it. The coastal hike from Balmoral to Taronga, the water taxi across the harbour, the picnic at Lavender Bay and the floating sauna were all really well thought out. It felt immersive without being over the top.
It was also really nice to spend time with women who work hard in their own businesses and careers, but still make space for this kind of reset. There was something reassuring about being around capable, driven women who also prioritise stepping away and looking after themselves.
By the end of day one I was exhausted — but in a good way. A mix of physical tiredness from the hike, mental deload from switching off, and that heavy feeling you get when you finally relax after a stressful start to the year. I didn’t realise how wound up I’d been until I stopped.
The whole weekend ran smoothly and felt well organised, but never rigid. There was plenty of space to chat, to be quiet, or just sit by the water and think.
If you’re after something outdoors-focused that helps you properly reset without it feeling preachy or performative, this is a really solid option.
