Beautiful alcohol inks class but made to feel unwelcome as soon as we stepped through the door with our assistance dog.

点评：The class was beautiful. Incredible setting. Tracy led the class with a perfect balance of support and advice whilst letting us embrace our creativity! Not sure I would do a class again as it was very expensive, but I did really enjoy it!
Sadly the framing around the class was very disappointing. Despite booking ahead and saying we were coming with an assistance dog, our 'greeting' as we walked through the door was 'NO DOGS!!!' As I'm sure you can imagine, as soon as the dog is made to not feel welcome, we are make to not feel welcome and it immediately draws attention to the reason why the dog is needed. A simply inquiry is all that is needed and we carry all the evidence provided by the charity should it ever be needed.
We then had to navigate a volunteer thinking it was ok to simply approach the dog and start petting him, despite us sitting right next to him and him wearing his uniform saying 'Please don't distract, I'm working'. A simple interaction with us to ask permission was all that was needed and as he normally settles quickly, it's granted and a lovely interaction ensues.
