Cancelled without prior notification, no reimbursement

点评：We booked our holidays in Nouméa well in advance, including three days at the Isle of Pines. Our friends advised us to book flights both ways but we decided to take a ferry
on the way back. On the day of departure we hired a car and arrived at the Kuto bay pier to find the ferry service cancelled without prior notification. They claimed that they didn't have our email on file but we received our tickets and the receipt on that email! We were informed that the next service would operate the following day and were advised that the company would cover the cost of an additional hotel night.
After returning home, we contacted customer support to request reimbursement for the extra hotel stay, as promised. Although the company requested receipts and bank details and confirmed that reimbursement would be processed within seven days,
no payment was ever made. Multiple follow-ups resulted only in references to the accounts department, which never contacted us.
Conclusion: For a stress-free holiday, book your flights rather than relying on this unreliable ferry service.
