Dumble Farm的点评
点评：Me and my partner booked the cow cuddling and safari experience. Being farmers ourselves we haven't had a night away in over ten years and just had to come visit as we love highlands.
We turned up and was immediately welcomed by Fi, James and Will the friendly farmers of Dumble Farm. We were given a safety briefing and introduction on the farm, the farmers history and its nature conservation. We then went out to meet some younger highlands to groom (they love chin scratches) and say hello and to learn their names and a little bit about each one. Fi then took us through to the barn where there was roughly 8 older cows, from highland to retired dairy cows where we got to get up close and cuddle in to them, one even layed his head on my partners lap and fell asleep. Fi took us to feed the younger highlands whilst the other Will and James switched out the older cuddle cows to the young calfs to make a fuss of and groom in the barn. After this we had tea and cake inside the shop which was delicious and next went on to the dumble bus (trailer) for the safari around the fields to see and feed the rest of the fold and learn about what the farmers are doing with conserving and encouraging wildlife to the farm. Lastly we popped into the shop and bought some items before leaving. In all this was a great experience and lasted about 4 hours definitely wrap up warm if its wet and cold and get lots of pictures.
Will definitely be coming again hopefully staying in a yurt.
