点评：I visited Skyland ranch with family during what we call 'hell week' in Sevierville. It is a well known fact that this is THE busiest week of the year and most businesses plan accordingly. Upon arrival the ticket window was packed...why??? Because they only had 2 windows out of a possible 5 open. The problem was amplified by the fact that all members of you party must be present to receive their armbands. So you end up with multiple people milling around the ticket window, all causing a gridlock. This was made even worse when a child vomited right in front of the window. Splattering chunks everywhere. One would think they would have closed that window immediately and opened one of the other free windows...no they continued serving people right there, in that pile of vomit! What a mess. What a biological hazard.
The ride to the top was pleasant, the area is quite nice, but a little sparse. I'm assuming that they will improve upon what is already there as time moves forward. A proper petting zoo would be an appropriate addition to the lonely animals on display. and for kids that do not do the hayride. There is nice little tractor train for the littlies, the music was exceptional (Monroeville) and the food surprisingly tasty.
Moving forward, as a local giving advise, I hope they will add more to the activities and streamline their ticket purchasing practices.
