Superb drive, okay campsite
Twyfelfontein Elephant Drives的点评
点评：💯 for the elephant drive which was amazing! Our guide was Joseph and you can tell just how much love he has for the elephants. We learned a lot about them and their way of life, and even got to see a sleeping baby mimi. Would definitely recommend joining the drive, we thoroughly enjoyed it very much!
We also stayed at the campsite which was okay but not the best campsite we've stayed especially since there was no electricity. While you could store your items with the bar, the bar closes at 8pm and only opens at 12pm - which wouldn't work for anyone leaving in the morning. The tap water is unfortunately not safe for drinking but it's fine since this is a desert area. I also got stung by a bee on my birthday (present from the bee LOL) while preparing dinner unfortunately but that may be due to the particular campsite being beside some bushes. That being said, the guard patrolling the camp made us feel safe at night, we really appreciate his presence - especially since we read about some cases of robbery in Spitzkoppe recently.
