点评：Unfortunately our trek to Cotopaxi was curtailed by poor weather conditions, whuch of course was understandably something that the agency and its guides have no control over. The problem and the big disappointment was over the fact that our guide Jorge gave us relatively little explanation about the details of the trek. He also advised us against carrying an extra change of clothes to the refuge, so for in case we were to get wet by the time we returned from the climb. This also meant that we couldn’t even venture out from the refuge during the wet weather to at least attempt to climb a little bit and be able to say that we tried. No, it meant that we had to simply stay laying around in the refuge all night long and then return home the next day. If we had not been advised against taking the extra pair of clothes, we would have taken them along and at least been able to venture out a little bit. I would NOT advise anyone to accept Jorge as their guide. In sum, he simply appeared too lazy and lacking in motívation and encouragement.
