Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium Tours的点评
点评：We attended the Scotland v Tonga men’s international in November 2025 and were pleasantly surprised at the large turnout of supporters for this game - around 60000. The downside to this was that we experienced one of our worst delays in getting aboard a tram from our hotel base at Edinburgh Park to Murrayfield. We lost count how many trams were too full to get any more passengers on but eventually after about 30 minutes we succeeded.
We still arrived in good time to take in a bit of the atmosphere outside the stadium with a band entertaining the crowd and the bars doing brisk business.
Our tickets on this occasion were in the West Stand, section 23, row EE, seats 16 & 17 (I think) and at £55 per adult were more reasonably priced than is often the case. The view was very good in general although it was Sods Law that the majority of the action took place on the other side of the pitch (as always!). It was an entertaining game albeit with an inevitable outcome. However the eventual scoreline, much in Scotland’s favour, did not reflect the effort put in by the Tongan players who had “null points” and plenty of yellow cards to show by the end.
After the match we made our way to the stand near the tunnel area and were able to get close to the players as they chilled out. We then met up with family members in the Up & Under Bar below the stands and there was a bit of singing and dancing to live music to be had, as well as some drinks. Waiting behind a little added to the experience and meant the queues at the tram stop had cleared a lot by the time we headed back to our hotel.
