点评:I had a really upsetting experience with the ski school office man.
I called in the morning to book a lesson and the man on the phone kept saying “speak proper English,” which I thought was really rude. However, I am very culturally aware as I am multi-national myself and I thought it may just be a language barrier so I decided to go into the office to book.
When I got there it was even worse. He was rude and quite aggressive towards me. When he said “speak proper English” again, I replied “I am trying to,” after that, his attitude just got worse. The way he shouted at me made me feel really uncomfortable and small.
I’m a 23-year-old woman (5ft 1 tall not that it make a difference but he is a grown man) travelling on my own and I would never try to be rude to someone, especially in another country.
I ended up leaving in tears and felt completely alone, not knowing where to go or what to do next. Luckily, about half an hour later I found someone else who helped me book a lesson with another ski school.
It really knocked my confidence and put a bad start on my trip. I did reach out to the ski school and they acknowledged my complaint but I did not hear an update.
