点评:A beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush green tropical forest.
Yes the entrance fee is a little pricey, but I feel it’s money well spent, as the funds raised are used to ensure this breathtaking area of natural beauty is protected and preserved for future generations.
There are bathrooms, changing rooms, a gift shop, restaurant, and a few takeaway places at the top before you begin your descent to the waterfall.
As mentioned (many times before) there are 500+ steps to walk down (and crawl back up!) I’m relatively fit, but my legs actually felt quite wobbly by the time I’d reached the bottom of the steps - thankfully I had some jelly sweets on me which did the trick. There are also drinking water taps available at both the top and bottom of the steps too. Walking back up was pretty hard going, but there are a couple of rest points on the way. I witnessed several people (of all ages) who struggled with the walk back up. Take your time, and take frequent water breaks.
The waterfall is phenomenal. We were lucky that there hadn’t been much rain when we visited and people were able to swim and paddle. I decided to just perch on the rocks, but my friends said the water was pretty nippy!
There was security around who rightly chastised people who were getting too close to the waterfall.
As it was super busy we only stayed for just over an hour, before heading back up, but I would most certainly recommend visiting this beautiful place.
