点评：Booking a Dutch river boat from SA is daunting, especially if you have never done something like this before. Communication with Maurice was great and he even agreed to a video call to meet face-to-face. This made us feel a lot more comfortable. He suggested a couple of route options, recommendations where to refuel and places to visit. He also suggested that I install the Waterkaarten app. This app helped a lot navigating the Vecht river, with information on the drawbridges; height, width, depth, opening times, etc. We could plan our trip fairly accurately using this app. There is are also a selection of paper maps on the boat.
We chose the 5 day, 4 night midweek option on Abel Tasman, but could have done with another couple of days. Check-in was smooth. Pim is extremely friendly and helpful and took us through everything on the boat. The boat is well equipped with all necessary cutlery and crockery. We could even cooked dinner on board. A nice touch was complimentary bottles of South African wine, one white and one red. The beds were comfortable with enough bedding and towels for 4 adults.
Passage on the Gooimeer towards Muiden was extremely windy with huge swells and waves crashing over the bow of the boat. Throughout this, we felt save in the sturdy well built Abel Tasman. The boat is easy to manoeuvre with easy understandable controls and a bow thruster to help. Mooring was easy and I could even do it on my own later, after some practicing. Going through the Groote Zeesluis at Muiden was easier than anticipated with Abel Tasman and passing under drawbridges became easy.
Returning the boat was quick. Again Pim was great.
Our insurance deposit was refunded within hours.
All and all, a fantastic experience and highly recommended.

还船过程非常快捷。皮姆 (Pim) 的服务一如既往地出色。
我们的保险押金在几个小时内就退还了。
