点评:it looked like a blizzard outside and i was scared of driving. i was so worried about what might happen! we didn’t have the money to pay for a nights stay. the group that invited us for my nephew’s birthday paid for our original stay, thankfully. but whenever it got bad outside i had no clue what we were going to do. we have a little car and one of our windshield wipers don’t work. i came to the front desk to talk about this and aj was the one i spoke to. i asked if we could make a pallet on the floor and sleep there for the night or if there was anything else we could do. he was really sweet and helpful. he took my name and phone number and said that he would speak to someone and they’d give me a call. a few hours later i went back up to the desk to see if they heard anything. a different man was there including aj. they said the best that they could do is discount us for the night for $80. although this was very generous, we just didn’t have the money. all we had was enough for gas to get home. it was a little upsetting but i was still thankful so i said never mind and that it was okay and went back to where my son and my husband were eating. it was really scary trying to figure out where to go for the night so i got very emotional. i broke down in the restaurant. shortly after i was starting to calm down a little, aj walked in and came to our table. he told us that he didn’t want anything to happen to us and asked if he could pay for our room for the night. he said he understood what it’s like and he wouldn’t want us to leave if we didn’t feel safe. he got emotional while talking to us also. i’ve never felt such kindness from a stranger. he really did save us that night! we will forever be thankful for what he did. please don’t let him go unrecognized! and thank you to the rest of the staff for being so kind to us also.
