海龟湾海滩的点评
点评：We had a morning to kill in santacruz, so we thiught this would be a perfect activity. Decided we would walk towards and take a boat taxi on the way back.
#1. Its not a flat terrain . Lots of stairs and ups and downs. It was a very hard walk at 9am for a couple of 62 yr olds travelling from the snowy northeast. Temperature said 70F, but it felt like 90.
#2. There is absolutely no water fountains or bathrooms anywhere. Our two water bottles did not last long.
#3. Beach was beautiful, and the water perfect temperature. But no place to change. We just dipped bit and rested.
#4. By now it was 11:30am, and water taxis had to be booked in advance. No one told us that. The earliest was at 2pm. So we decided to walk back. Dont know how we made it back alive wihout water and the sun beating down.
#5. We saw minimal wildlife. Saw much more in Isabela island beaches.
