Cape Tourville Lighthouse的点评
点评：The walk out to the lighthouse was listed as one of Tasmania's top 60 great short walks and it didn't disappoint.
The lighthouse was about a 14 minute drive away from the Wineglass Bay parking lot along its own namesake road. It took us out to the most eastern park of the park that was accessible by car.
Parking lot was smaller but the walkway out towards the lighthouse was combination of gravel and wood/metal walkways. Slight incline but overall an easy walk.
Fabulous views of the eastern coast of Freycinet Marine Park especially the orange colored cliffs. It was whale migration season but wasn't able to see southern right or humpback whales that day.
The lighthouse was fully automated so no access but outside a very detailed sign was mounted describing its operational details and the Frenchman it was named after.
I recommend stopping by Sleepy Bay on the return. The parking lot was even smaller but here you could walk all the way down to the bay and look back at the lighthouse.
