点评:This country park is managed by Hampshire Council and is very close to Havant town but there are 1000 acres of woodland walks and a fabulous lake. The greatest thing is that it's run for the community. Young people with disabilities work in the Storey Garden run by the Right to Work charity. They grow veg and plants to sell to fund the project. The Coach House cafe is run by teachers and pupils from a local school to give them work experience. There was a community archaeology project Whilst it's not an ornamental garden it is a great place to spend a few hours. It's free to enter but you do pay for parking. It's an RHS Partner garden on Tuesday and Wednesday you get free parking. I do feel as a community asset the parking and the cafe are quite expensive. It should be available to everyone to enjoy albeit the parking funds the upkeep of the gardens. They were awarded Lottery funding and have completely upgraded the site.
