Terrible stay at The Old School House. July 2026

点评：The Old School House Property. Do not book or stay here, as the quality and standard of the accommodation is poor and carries risks. I have raised my concerns with this holiday rental to the owner throughout my stay when quite a number of issues arose with unsafe equipment, faulty equipment, health and safety concerns with the downstairs shower, electrical fittings and ill fitting fixtures in the property. Communication with the owner was always positive and quick but outcomes fell well short. Things that could be addressed at the time were dealt with. But other serious health and safety issues were not. It was so bad I considered leaving on the morning of day 2, but instead asked for compensation for our holiday and this was before more and more issues, general and serious issues with the property arose. When I was compensated I was only given £325, which didn't even cover the equivalent of one days cost for the accommodation. Also the health and safety issues couldn't have been dealt with before the next visitors arrived at the property, so the owners are not thinking about people's overall health and safety but purely the financial gain. I have raised my concerns through the correct channels and put this review on totally so that people do not waste their well earned money on this sub standard accommodation and have a true reflection of the property and the quality.
