Hobbledown Heath的点评

Visited Hobbledown Heath today with my partner and our 2-year-old son. Entry for the three of us was £50.15, plus £5.20 for parking, so £55.35 in total.
Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the experience was worth the price. I asked for a map when we arrived, but was told they don’t provide maps and that we could view one online. For a large park, I found this quite disappointing and it didn’t make us feel particularly welcomed.
The animals were quite spread out, with limited signage or direction about what you would see next. We also found some areas, particularly the adventure playground, unsuitable for a toddler. Although it says “parent guidance”, some parts are difficult for a parent to enter or properly supervise, especially with older children running and jumping around.
The bird show also felt quite drawn out, and after around 20 minutes of watching the same bird flying up and down, we decided to leave. Food and refreshments were also quite expensive, with a small scoop of ice cream costing £3.
Overall, our son enjoyed the indoor play area, which made the day worthwhile for him, but personally I don’t feel £55.35 represents good value for money. For younger children, I think a good indoor/outdoor play centre would offer better value.
I wouldn’t recommend it for children around 2–4 years old based on our experience. Perhaps it would be more enjoyable for children aged 5+. However, children under the age of 4 should be free entry.

根据我们的体验，我并不推荐这个地方给2至4岁左右的孩子。或许对于5岁以上的孩子来说会更有趣一些。4岁以下的儿童可免费入场。
