Rushed, Not Worth the Cost - Choose Ken's Tours at Lower Antelope Instead

点评：We booked this upper canyon tour months ago, the tour cost a LOT of money. We specifically paid for 1 hr & 20 min in the canyon but only received 1 hr. And we paid extra for prime time. When I asked, they said it's only a 1-hr tour. Groups were rushed through both from our guide and the guide behind us, bumping into each other with no time for group photo stops. Our guide was a woman who didn't tell us a single thing about the canyon - we decided to listen to the guides in front & behind our group since we were so close together. She didn't know answers to our questions, couldn't adjust our phones for canyon shading and also said 'I don't take individual photos' so we had no help with photos. She didn't tell us when we were at optimal photo stops. This tour company was extremely disappointing & embarrassing knowing how much we paid for this rushed tour. Do your research before booking with them. Prices go down the same day.
After this upper canyon tour was over, we were so disappointed that we booked the Lower Canyon tour across the street with a different company (Ken's Tours) at the last minute pice - a quarter of what we paid for the upper. The Lower Canyon was much longer, amazing photo stops, we were not rushed at all. Our guide explained each part of the canyon, told us about formation, shapes in the canyon, water swirl points, what happens to the sand when it rains & how they prepare it for guests. He answered all our questions, knew all the sweet spots for amazing photos, and offered to take family & individual photos throughout the entire tour. They have safety personnel inside & by the exit of this lower canyon tour to be sure everyone is safe. There are stairs but nothing hard - there were children & elderly on this tour.

上峡谷游览结束后，我们极为失望，于是临时决定以极低的价格从街对面的另一家旅行社（Ken's Tours）预订了下峡谷游览——费用仅为上峡谷游览的四分之一。下峡谷的游览路线更长，沿途还有许多绝佳的拍照点，整个行程也毫无匆忙之感。我们的导游详细介绍了峡谷的各个部分，讲解了峡谷的形成过程、各种奇特地貌以及水流回旋的现象。他还说明了下雨时沙子会发生什么变化，以及他们如何为游客做好各项准备工作。他耐心回答了我们的所有问题，熟知能拍出绝佳照片的最佳位置，还主动提出在整个游览过程中为全家人及个人拍照。在该下游峡谷游览路线上，入口处和出口处都有安保人员值守，以确保每位游客的安全。这里有楼梯，但并无什么难走的地方——这次游览中还有小孩和老人呢。
