点评：Dentro do campus da Universidade do Texas, em Austin - Tx, o Edifício do Bass Concert Hall nem se destaca tanto, haja vista a enorme quantidade de edificações dos mais diversos departamentos e serviços de apoio existentes. Todavia, o Bass Concert Hall, localizado na 2350 Robert Dedman Dr, e inaugurado em 1981, que faz parte do Centro de Artes Performáticas da Universidade do Texas, coletivo de cinco teatros operados pela Universidade do Texas, é um teatro de enormes dimensões e com vários níveis de assentos na plateia, com uma infraestrutura que não se imagina em uma universidade, pelo menos nas Brasileiras, com quase 3.000 lugares, um palco com 15m de largura, foyers em três níveis e um nível de conforto impressionante.
Diversos espetáculos, peças de teatro e famosos musicais ocorrem no local, além de eventos da Universidade e de outros organismos públicos e privados.
Trata-se de um ótimo lugar para assistir a um espetáculo, cuja visita eu recomendo que se faça.
