点评：Staff was friendly, gave us directions to get to the landing, we loaded in the river quickly and was able to take off a little early. We were on the 3:30 shuttle, but got back at 1:15pm and they let us get on the 2:30 shuttle, as there was room. You can also skip the shuttle and call an uber. A guy there did and waited maybe 10-15 min and was gone, as we waited. They have flushable portapotties that were clean and one of the staff even found my credit card that fell out of my pocket getting out of the kayak and gave it to me. They should inform people that at a certain point in the river, it becomes very overgrown with seaweed and lillypads and one wonders if you missed a turn or are lost. In fact, it is the right way. The river is beautiful; saw alligators, ibis, blue heron, fish and other birds. Lots of turtles. No manatees because the river is too shallow. Took us 3.5 hrs to do the 8.5 miles and a younger gal said she left before us and we were hauling a… Take snacks and water and a waterproof bag to put it all in along with your keys, wallet and maybe phone, unless you want to risk it and take pictures like I did.
