Great family camp out at Barton Park!

点评：Our family of 5 adult children with their spouses and our 6 grandchildren all camped at Barton Park August 21st - 24th. The weather was 103 ° on one of those days. We spent it swimming in the Clackamas River having a fantastic time - probably the best day of the year. Our sites were under a canopy of large trees near the clean bathrooms, showers, and playground. The kids loved the jungle-gym. There was also a big manicured green field for them to play tag on.
The host and rangers were certeous. We had kids to pick up from the airport at midnight and had to park our car outside of the gate that closed at 10 pm. The staff was accomodating.
I would definitely go back again.
The only consideration is that the river didn't have a big beach and was rocky. Young swimmers needed constant watching because the waters flow quickly and are deep. They did go in with life jackets and had a super fun time!
