Concatedral Sant Nicolau de Bari d'Alacant的点评
点评：After visiting Basilica Santa Maria and learning of the historic church rivalry, we had to check out the competition - Concatedral San Nicolas.
We were delighted to see our favourite, easy to use handsets were again available for no additional cost. They really enhanced our visit. Admission fee is more expensive for the Cathedral, but it is double the size and has toilets (off the cloister, near the entrance).
If you follow the recommended path, you start at the cloisters, visit the displays of gold, silver and artwork in the sacristy and ante sacristy before heading upstairs - which is amazing. You are close to the Virgin of Remedy, the organ (being played during our visit) and you have an excellent view of the Cathedral itself. It is definitely less ornate than the Santa Maria, keeping the main focus on the altar itself.
You then descend the stairs and had into the Cathedral itself. Avoid Mass times when worship is taking place.
The tour took around an hour and was definitely worth the visit.
