点评:I recall seeing this business reviewed on a "made in America" segment of World News one year I believe. It has a relaxing vibe to browse through at your leisure (no admission fee; stay as long as you like) and then decide on a special Alaskan made souvenir. The staff was very friendly and even shared the history of the company with us after I inquired. The shop was steadily busy but not crowded so easy to look things over. I purchased a beautiful salad bowl and serving utensils. My husband chose an ulu with a Damascus steel blade and leather sheath. An ulu is a versatile cutting tool crafted by Native Alaskan people over five thousand years ago. (Now that we are back home, I can get him to help in the kitchen more! LOL!) Both items will get a lot of use and become a family heirloom to pass on to our children and then grandchildren. I highly recommend The Great Alaskan Bowl Company. Go browse around!
