A lovely peaceful setting for a great day out

点评：A lovely visit to a lovely property. We loved the fact that the site is much smaller than some local NT properties and therefore quieter. The setting is stunning, a beautiful courtyard and rolling countryside down to the water. The church is beautiful. The house has a rich history and has links to Florence Nightingale. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. We went during the White Cube exhibition and felt that the curation was very well thought out and added to the experience. The juxtaposition between the old and new was lovely. We went on a warm day and there was plenty of green space to have a picnic and the Phoenix Kitchen made a delicious flat white. The independent boutiques in the courtyard are lovely to look round too. A great day out. Open Friday to Monday 10:30-3:30 from March until October and special candlelit tours in November and December.
