DWT - Douro Wine Tours的点评
点评：Booked the private wine tour online - was easy to book and Rui was very responsive. On the day of the tour, Rui was on time with a Mercedes sedan. We were a family of four adults and it was tight inside the car - a van would have been more comfortable.
The drive from Porto to Douro valley was very picturesque. The choice of the first winery was very good - Quinta da Pacheca. The estate was beautiful with great views, the wine tour was excellent and the wine tasting decent. We then went for lunch to a local Portuguese restaurant - it was basic, but good food and service. This was followed by a river cruise which was very good. The 2nd winery choice could have been better - Quinta da Portal - good views, short and average tour, soulless wine tasting and average wines.
Rui is a very nice, transparent, hospitable professional and tries his best for customers to have a good experience. He gave very good recommendations on activities and restaurants in Porto. Would recommend them with a suggestion that you should discuss the logistics (car size etc) and research the wineries that Rui chooses - please tell him if you want to switch and he will gladly do that.
