点评：We had a wonderful one day tour of Heraklion, Crete on 7th of March 2025 with https://ToursInHeraklion.Com via TripAdvisor.
Mr. Nikos from ToursInHeraklion.Com was very patient, responsive and tried his best to plan additional tours for us given the low season and non-availability of many tours in Crete. He didn't even cancel this day tour even though the two of us were the only participants. So, we effectively had a private tour for us covering some of the fascinating locations in and around Heraklion - Knossos Palace, Kera Kardiotissa Monastery Lasithi, Windmills, Lasithi Plateau, Lasithi villages, Ancient Plane Tree, Mochos, view of the coast from the top.
Mr Spyros, the driver/tour Guide was the highlight of the trip for his passion, generosity and knowledge. We completely immersed ourselves in his narration. particularly when he took us for a coffee to a local coffee shop in a Lasithi village run by an elderly lady. Later he welcomed us into his cosy, wonderful house in the same village. We enjoyed a snack of orange slices sweet pickled in honey. We will forever remember the sweetness of the snack and the hospitality, Later Mr Spyros offered us a pure Extra Virgin Olive oil as gift and token of friendship. We really appreciate Mr Spyros gesture, going out of the way. He didn't stop here but thereafter took us to a local store to give us a taste of pure goat milk yoghurt. We lapped on this as the taste and freshness was incredible.
