Its such a shame
Alder Carr Farm Shop的点评
点评：Unfortunately, this award-winning farm shop, once recognised as one of the country’s top farm shops, is in need of a significant injection of care and attention.
It is the small details, as well as some of the larger ones, that make a real difference to the visitor experience. For example, there was no soap in the dispensers in the toilets or around the farm. The footpaths appeared shabby and poorly maintained, while the children’s play area has clearly seen better days.
The experience in the restaurant was equally disappointing. The person responsible for seating appeared rather unwelcoming, giving the impression that customer service was not a particular priority. At £15 for a plate of poor-quality supermarket scampi accompanied by lukewarm peas, the meal was also very disappointing and certainly did not represent good value for money.
Overall, this was a disappointing visit. It is a great shame to see a once award-winning attraction that has so much potential falling short in these basic areas. With some investment, maintenance and greater attention to customer service, it could once again provide the experience visitors would expect from a top farm shop.
