Loxwood Joust的点评
点评：This was my first time attending the Joust, or any event resembling a Renaissance Fair, and I was not disappointed. We took the shuttle from Guildford for one of the Sunday dates. Entering Loxwood you are immediately transported to a realm of intregue and fantasy, and looking at the programme was just blown away by how much there was to see and do on site! We were totally spoilt for choice, and next year would definitely stay for two days to experience everything. There are many vendors and stalls on site, what I would say was that there seemed to only be one stall selling mead, which was always quite busy. There was plenty of choice for food and shopping outside of that though. You can also spend £3 pounds on a quest sheet to take part in an interactive story with actors onsite, we took part in the Noble Silver Quest where we spoke to Lord Plumpton, a totally hilarious performer who encouraged us to explore the site to complete her challenge. It was such a charming exchange, we wished we had started questing earlier in the day to try some of the other quests! The jousting was executed to perfection, and the hand to hand combat a real thrill. If you are thinking of visiting loxwood, please do yourself the courtesy of booking a ticket, you will not be disappointed!!!
