点评:The overcrowding in the Masai Mara is. Is out of control. We went in July 2026 to see the Great Migration and saw a reserve overwhelmed with vehicles. To give two examples. First, we saw more than 30 vehicles queuing to see a cheetah. Studies have shown that this overcrowding is endangering the cheetah and leopard population as hyenas now identify so many vehicles with a kill and simply arrive to steal the prey. Second, you cannot see the Great Migration of wildebeest for the sheer number of vehicles. The riverbank where the wildebeest try to cross resembles a car park. Research has shows that the number of wildebeest trying to cross the Mara is now falling each year as vehicles block their route and stress them out. Sadly, the Kenyan government is failing the Masai people. If urgent action is not taken, the ecosystem and wildlife of the Masai Mara will be destroyed. I think it is already too late.
