A highlight of our Alaska trip
Sheep Mountain Air的点评
点评：We did a flightseeing tour with Sheep Mountain Air and it ended up being one of the best experiences of our entire Alaska trip.
I was honestly pretty nervous before takeoff, but Mark is clearly a very experienced pilot and the flight was smooth the whole time. Once we were in the air, I was able to relax and just enjoy the scenery. Mark also did a great job explaining how the landscape, glaciers, and mountains were formed, which made the experience even more interesting.
We had two great stops along the way. One of them had this incredibly blue pool that looked almost unreal, like something generated by AI. The biggest highlight, though, was visiting an ice cave. We were told it's not common to see one that's accessible during the summer, and it was easily the most memorable thing from our entire Alaska road trip.
What I also appreciated was that Mark went out of his way to help us spot wildlife. We ended up seeing five bears, including a couple of cubs, which was amazing.
We stayed at the lodge as well. It's comfortable without being fancy, and has the rustic, remote feel you'd hope for in Alaska. It really gives you that authentic wilderness experience.
Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. If you're considering a flightseeing trip in Alaska, I'd highly recommend Sheep Mountain Air.
