Beautiful Winery in Lumbarda!

点评：On the beautiful island of Korčula, there is a wine region, Lumbarda, that is a wine lovers dream! In this area, you can walk from winery to winery, there are 13 wineries in just Lumbarda! We visited the sleek and beautiful Sabulum winery for a tasting.
The owner was so nice and found a spot for us even though the tasting room was packed and personally poured our tastings. His family has ties to wine making for over 300 years, and his wine shows it. We tried 3 wines and some homemade limoncello (we bought 2 bottles to take home!).
The ambiance, and hospitality was laidback and peaceful. The family dog, Dexter, was also a great addition to the vibe. Like most places on the island, they are cash only, so plan accordingly if you plan on grabbing some limoncello, wine, St. John’s Wort, olive oil, or any of the other homemade goodies this family makes!
