点评:We set out on the trail to Little Adam’s Peak, but stopped at the point where the actual ascent to the peak begins, as we were tired from the hiking we had done in previous days.
Consequently, we missed out on the panoramic views from the top (and because of this — entirely our own doing — we feel we cannot give the attraction the maximum score). However, we didn't miss any other highlights of the route.
The trail passes by a popular recreation complex featuring pool clubs, ziplines, and other attractions. It also winds through rolling, emerald-green tea fields, where pickers are almost always at work (as tea cultivation requires constant labor). It's worth noting that the women working there (understandably) ask for payment if you wish to photograph them.
The area is also famous in Sri Lankan folklore; according to the *Ramayana* epic, the demon-king Rawana brought Princess Sita here after abducting her. A large statue of Rawana at the base of the climb to Little Adam’s Peak serves as a reminder of this legend.
