Not Enough Time On The Water
Juneau Tours & Whale Watch的点评
点评：We booked the 3 hour whale watching tour that left the cruise ship terminal at 3:30pm. We booked directly from a booth on the pier.
We paid $149 USD plus tax for a last minute ticket.
The bus trip from the cruise terminal to Auke Bay was about 20 minutes.
There were 41 people on our boat.
We spent roughly 2 hours on the boat.
We were offered protein bars as snacks along with water.
All the staff we encountered from booking, bus driver, naturalist, captain & assistants were nice.
We saw a few glimpses of humpback whales & orcas. Also some porpoises swimming.
We’ve done many whale watching tours in Alaska & this one unfortunately didn’t provide enough opportunities to get great views of the whales. Simply not enough time on the water.
However, we will say with the perfect weather conditions the location & scenery from Favourite Channel were incredible.
Finally, our boat “Thunder Cloud” was in good shape & was comfortable & provided a clean toilet & good viewing from inside, front, back & on the top deck.
