Glass Bridge + Grand Canyon
张家界大峡谷的点评
点评：This is a must visit attraction in Zhangjiajie, but there are only 2 sites on my list - the Glass Bridge and the Grand Canyon. This attraction is not located within the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, and we have to take a bus from Wulingyuan Coach Station to visit this attraction. The bus fare costs RMB 12.
Admission charges are free if you just want to visit the Grand Canyon, but for most people, all would like to visit both, and it costs RMB 175 for adults. Seniors above aged 65 enjoyed discount rate and paid only RMB63 per person.
There are also other adventurous programs like zipline, bungy jump, rock climbing, slide way, etc, which are separately charged, but they are not suitable for the weak hearts. There are not as many tourists in the Grand Canyon as in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, so don’t worry about queuing for a long time, except when you take the Zip Line.
The Glass Bridge is the longest and glass bridge in the world. Unlike the Glass Bridge on Tianmen Mountain, which is inserted on the mountainside, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge hangs over a valley. It provides a superb panorama of the entire Grand Canyon. Standing on it is like floating in the air.
Unfortunately, when we were there, the weather was rather foggy, and we could not take a photo that showed the extent of the length of the entire hanging bridge.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the 3 km relaxing walk along the valley in the canyon and took the Holy Spring Lake cruise to the exit. Ducks play on the reservoir, and we see egrets flying past. Very scenic, calm, and peaceful walk.
It only took us about half a day to visit this attraction. You can take the same bus to Yellow Dragon Cave (bus fare: RMB 8) on your return trip. But we decided to skip the cave.

可惜我们去的时候雾很大，没能拍到一张能展现整座吊桥长度的照片。
尽管如此，我们还是享受了沿着峡谷山谷悠闲漫步3公里的旅程，并乘坐圣泉湖游船到达出口。水库里鸭子嬉戏，白鹭飞翔。风景如画，宁静祥和。
我们只花了大约半天时间就游览完了这个景点。回程可以乘坐同一辆巴士前往黄龙洞（票价8元）。但我们决定不去黄龙洞了。
