点评：Worth it on the Ghent Citypass but found it curious that the map I asked for was helpful for orientation but it didn’t identify any artworks or themes of any rooms. So you had to explore every room to find out, which isn’t great if you are on a time constraint and/or keen to see selected works. Also none of the beginning rooms were labelled from the main hallway and all glass doors were shut so I was confused with direction to enter — very uninviting and staff at door not friendly. But great app to download for free and detailed explanations of art works on walls also with some well known artists like Rubens, Bosch and van Dyke. Hardly anyone there when I visited on a weekday afternoon. Gift shop was mostly art books. The Ghent Alterpiece restoration was the highlight. I recommend this arts museum if you are an art enthusiast. Has lots of variety. But avoid if you want to see highly popular works.
