Laitlum Canyons的点评
点评：The Word Laitlum means end of hills in the local dialect in Khasi district. Located on the outskirts of Shillong city at an altitude of about 1800 meters above sea level. Laitlum Canyons offers Panoramic views with its rugged terrain. It is often enveloped in mist, which adds to its mystical allure. Laitlum Canyons is renowned for its sublime natural beauty, offering a panoramic bird's eye view of Verdant hills. This is what we heard during our visit to shillong and exited to visit the same. Finally we have scheduled visit to same on our 3rd day of itinerary and went there in the morning around 9 am. Travelled @ 40 km from Shillong town. Had breakfast on the way.
After reaching there we got upset for couple of things. One is whatever views we saw in reviews and internet, actual view is entirely different. May be timing is wrong, but got upset as nothing as such as exited to see. Second upset point is local village people are charging 100 Rs per person for visiting the same, which is on and above Two wheeler parking charges which we paid. For parking we paid 50 INR.
So my recommendation is please check the condition before you start to visit the same.

到达之后，有几件事让我们有些失望。其一，我们在评论和网络上看到的景色，与现实中的完全不一样。或许是时间不对，但确实没有什么值得期待的景致可看。第二个令我们失望的点是，当地的村民竟向每位游客收取100卢比的参观费。这个费用已经包含了我们所支付的两轮车停车费。我们为停车支付了50印度卢比。
因此我的建议是：在前往参观之前，请先确认一下实际情况。
