维也纳普拉特游乐园的点评
点评：We had an amazing time at Prater, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna.
We started with the iconic Riesenrad, which felt like such a beautiful, vintage experience. It’s not adrenaline-filled in any way, but rather calm, atmospheric, and perfect for taking in the views of the city. I would highly recommend going around sunset—the light over Vienna at that time makes the whole experience even more magical.
After that, we went on the Prater Tower, and it was absolutely incredible. At 117 meters high, it offers a completely different kind of experience. If you’re not a fan of intense, shaking adrenaline rides, but still want to feel excitement, this is perfect.
What makes it so special is that it doesn’t do anything extreme, yet because you’re seated in these small, open chairs, you truly feel like you’re flying. You’re much higher than on any other attraction, and the view from the top is breathtaking. It genuinely feels like you are floating above Vienna—it’s an unforgettable sensation.
Prater as a whole offers such a unique combination of nostalgic charm and exciting attractions, and we loved every moment of it.
A small practical tip: there is a large parking garage nearby, which makes arriving by car very easy. Just make sure to pay for your parking before heading to the exit—once you reach it, you’ll need to have already paid, otherwise you’ll have to walk back to the nearest ticket machine. Also, take your parking ticket with you when you leave the car, as you’ll need it to re-enter the garage later.
Overall, an incredible experience that I would absolutely recommend.
