Possibly the best racecourse in the country!

点评：We have been going to the races at Cheltenham on New Years Day for nearly 30 years. It used to be a reasonably quiet affair but is now big business.
There are numerous options for attending from the cheapest ticket which gives you access to the the racing on the ‘opposite’ side of the track, a basic ticket giving access to the racing, parade ring and all the basic bars and restaurants, numerous restaurant packages in the various venues to a range of private boxes.
The venue is well kept, clean and always has a great atmosphere. The facilities have grown and expanded so much over the years. Too many indoor dining options carry a big price tag with only a few tables to eat or drink a sandwich and coffee. The racing feels remote now. For me it’s lost its appeal. I may go again but our annual trips are over.
