点评：I was excited to visit the zoo as it listed several animals I had not seen before. However, a few things to consider. The tram stop right in front of the zoo is not working yet. Bus 16 from Central Station will stop in August 2026. The walk to the Island across the bridge (and back) is long for little legs. The island is large (good for animals, less so for visitors) and quite hilly. (Goes double for the tropical house - unexpectedly steep) Signage also lacking, so do get a paper map, Food options also limited had planned to eat at Pukki but it was closed for some reason despite high season. I visited on a warm day so many animals were understandably hiding from the heat so lots of enclosures just appeared empty. The zoo is open till 21.00! In the summer so maybe skip the day and come in the evening.
