Dirty boat with technical issues and poor check-in experience

点评：One-week charter on a 34" sailboat with NSS from Cala dei Sardi. Two significant technical issues, plus a poor check-in experience and dirty boat.
Bow thruster: listed as fitted equipment for this specific boat, but non-functional from day one and never repaired for the entire week. NSS's own technicians told us this was because their diver had a broken foot and no replacement was available.
Engine: the ignition panel started cutting out during startup on day 2, before the alarm even sounded. We called for assistance immediately and sent videos on request. It took almost 18 hours for a technician to arrive, and the actual fix was never explained — only a workaround that goes against engine manufacturer instructions and that we had to be told explicitly after the fault recurred twice more over the following days.
Check-in: arrived on time at 9:30; process dragged on past noon, with base staff unable to tell us who was helping or when. Cleaning had not been done properly either: cigarette butts on deck and used plaster on the floor next to the galley.
We raised all of this at check-in, check-out and in writing after the charter. No substantive response and only one that disputed facts we can document. Do not recommend.
