Mawkdok Dympep Valley view point is the roadside valley that opens as you drop towards Sohra from Shillong and located just a short drive from Shillong.
If you are exploring Meghalaya, the Mawkdok Dympep Valley view point is one of the most breathtaking stop along the Shillong-Cherrapunji road trip. This stunning view point offers good panoramic views of the lush green deep Valleys, green hills, and mist covered cliffs.
Mawkdok Dympep Valley view point changes with the seasons. During monsoon season, the valley is surounded in mist and clouds, while the winter months provide clear views of the valley. We visited during winter season in the month of Jan'26

1. Primarily people visit to witness the surrounding hills and deep valley. It's prime spot to simply soak in the natural beauty of the place. It's a great place for simply relaxing, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the good time with your loved ones.
2. Zip-Lining: Zip lining is the another mesmerizing experience across the Valley from this point, which can be an adventurous addition to visit. But Zip-lining is not available all the time here. please check before planning your visit.
3. This valley view point is best landscape photography spot in Meghalaya. You can take beautiful pics of Valley which is covered with mist and surrounded by mountains.
4. There are a view points to enjoy the beauty of this valley. Also local vendors supply Maggi, snacks and tea. Enjoy snacks and tea by enjoying views.
