点评:The museum itself is small but informative. If you’re a seaglass enthusiast (like me), you’ll enjoy the blacklight room with the UV seaglass, and reading about the history of it in Ft Bragg.
Just to manage your expectations, the gentleman who runs the museum is a lot less talkative and friendly than I’d expected. An absolute crab, if I’m being honest… he seemed rather annoyed by our attempts at friendly conversation. He, himself, is an antique, so I’m going to assume that he has a lot of aches and pains that cause such grumpiness.
The museum runs on small donations. I had hoped to see a Venmo QR code to donate, but it was simply a cash box. We didn’t have cash, so I planned to buy things from the gift shop to support the place. However, when Cap Cass snapped at a couple of kids in the store, I left without buying anything.
Hopefully the museum will get a QR code to collect digital donations! And perhaps Cap Cass was having an off day when we visited… and he’ll be warm and welcoming for your crew.
