点评：We visited the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense as a family, and it was a truly beautiful experience for everyone. The museum strikes a perfect balance: there is a wealth of information about Andersen’s life and work that captivated the adults, while the immersive storytelling sections were a huge hit with the kids.
The aesthetic of the space is incredible. It is designed in such a way that you naturally interact with props and elements from each fairytale, making the stories come alive.
The staff was very polite and helpful. There are lockers available to store your belongings so you can wander around comfortably. Tickets (around €22 per person, children under 18 enter for free) are issued for specific time slots, which keeps the crowds under control. I’d say you need about 2-3 hours for a full tour. If you have the time, enjoy a coffee at the museum's architecturally stunning cafe. As for the food (quite pricey) it’s best to make a reservation.
A special tip for families: do not miss the Ville Vau play area. I was initially hesitant because my children are a bit older, but I’m so glad we went in. It is easily the most magical, well-crafted, and detailed play area we have ever visited.
