点评:Situated in the former Palace of the Archbishops, this museum is filled with gorgeous artwork and items used by the wealthy in their life. When I went in December 2025, they also had a special exhibition on clothes from the Renaissance, along with period clothing that was important to France. These were all replicas.
Admission includes access to the former Palace of the Archbishops, the Gothic cloister and the Cathedral of Saint-Just and Saint-Pasteur. Supposedly our ticket included the church treasury, although we couldn't find it.
We were told to go see the top of the 13th century tower (with access being from the gift shop where you buy your ticket.) I wouldn't recommend going up unless you have good shoes and are ready to climb a considered amount of winding, stone steps while dodging a massive amount of pigeon guano once you get to the top. It was pouring rain when we went and I was in ballet flats slippers. Suffice to say, I didn't think it was worth the climb.
The museum closes for lunch between 12:30 - 14:00, so if you're already in the museum during that time, you have to go find something else to do during that time and then come back.
Everything is in French - the tours, the placards, the pamphlets. There are no pamphlets in any other languages available. If you want to understand what you're looking at, make sure your phone is fully charged and you have Google Translate's camera app already downloaded to your phone.
My phone died while we were here but I definitely enjoyed visiting the inside of the attached cathedral. Absolutely stunning and a marvel to behold.
Paid larking was at an off-site lot in the opposite side of the Canal de la Robine, just a short maybe 5 minute walk from the museum.
