点评：I never leave bad reviews however this is unavoidable, I 100% recommend meteora as a place to visit as it is beautiful and the views are unmatched with very friendly people on the most part, however, what I witnessed in the gift shop certainly left me questioning the authenticity of this ‘holy place’. The man running it was friendly to my mum and I, and welcomed us into the shop, whilst we were browsing two other members of our coach trip came in and he immediately got up and became very threatening toward the male from our coach, saying things like ‘what are you doing here’ and then telling him to get out. To which he did, he then tried to report it to the member of staff at the ticket office and was ignored. My mum and I promptly left as we certainly were not giving anymore of our money to this ‘holy place’ that clearly allows their staff to be bigots and racists, threatening PAYING tourists, more of a business than a place of god, I can only hope the money goes to charity. The nunnery was a much nicer place and the toilets were free, with the nuns running everything rather than employed staff!
翻译：我从不写差评，但这次实在忍无可忍。我百分百推荐梅特奥拉，那里风景优美，景色无与伦比，而且大部分游客都非常友善。然而，我在礼品店里目睹的一切，让我对这个“圣地”的真实性产生了怀疑。店主对我和我妈妈很友好，热情地欢迎我们进店。在我们浏览的时候，我们旅行团的另外两名游客走了进来，店主立刻起身，对我们旅行团的其中一位游客进行威胁，质问他“你在这里干什么”，并让他离开。那位游客照做了。之后，他试图向售票处的工作人员反映情况，但却无人理睬。我和我妈妈立刻离开了，因为我们绝不会再把钱花在这个所谓的“圣地”了。这里显然纵容员工抱有偏见和种族歧视，甚至威胁付费游客。与其说是神圣之地，不如说更像是一个商业场所。我只能希望这些钱能捐给慈善机构。修道院是个好得多的地方，厕所是免费的，而且所有事情都是修女们自己管理的，而不是雇佣的员工！
