点评:Arrived at Valencia airport and purchased tickets for the FGV metro and transport.
The agent spoke poor English and issued us with one return metro ticket into the city and back to the airport to cover us both. We were given no instructions in Spanish/ Valencian/Catalan or English as to how we used the one ticket to gain access through the unmanned electronic gates.
On our return 5 days later we used the ticket but metro agents (3 females) and two security guards alleged we had only paid for one ticket. My wife offered to pay but none of them understood and didn't speak English/ and had no translation device to assist. We were taken off the train before arriving at the airport. Eventually agent 3009 accepted a payment card and after 20 mins allowed to continue. We eventually found out the one ticket had to be flashed twice through turnstiles, but this was never explained and we do not use Metro services normally.
To the FGV - please help your visitors with translation and information. A formal complaint has been sent to the FGV in Valencian, but they have not replied!!
This incident left us extremely upset and anxious. We are both over 70 years of age, but have travelled all over the world and lived abroad.
