Course Deserves 5 Stars, Administration Does Not

点评：The golf course itself is excellent and this review is not a reflection of the course, greenkeeping staff, or fellow members. The course is always presented to a very high standard, offers an enjoyable challenge, and is one of the nicest courses in the area. The condition of the course and overall golfing experience are genuinely first class.
Unfortunately, my experience with the club’s administration has been very disappointing.
I joined as a Country Member, met the eligibility criteria at the time of application, paid my membership fee, and my membership was accepted and activated. I was given access to the BRS booking system and enjoyed playing the course.
Several months later, my membership privileges were suspended, my BRS access was removed, and existing bookings were cancelled.
My main concern is not simply the decision itself, but the lack of transparency surrounding it. After reviewing the Membership Form and Terms & Conditions provided by the club, I have been unable to find any provision stating that a Country Member must maintain an ongoing membership at another golf club throughout the membership year. Despite repeatedly asking the club to identify the specific rule or clause relied upon, I have not received a clear answer.
I was also never provided with the membership application form or terms and conditions before payment was accepted.
This is particularly disappointing because the course itself is outstanding and deserves great credit. However, I believe members should expect clear communication, transparency, and fair treatment when decisions affecting their membership are made.
I sincerely hope the club reviews its membership processes and communication procedures, as the quality of the administration should match the quality of the golf course.
