点评:The tour itself was okay. Apparently at the totem pole & heritage center there was a mix up with timing and two full buses from this company plus others were there making some areas crowded. My rating is low because of the guide/driver Owen. We started with a ride to the north end of the road; the transition from pavement to dirt road was extremely bumpy & not at all good for people like me with back injuries. There was no warning it would be bumpy and he didn’t take it slow. Most of the sights he pointed out were “over there” but unless you weren’t in the front rows you couldn’t see where he was gesturing (and I would have preferred he keep both hands on the steering wheel!). His stories were rambling & filled with “um” & “ah”. His directions at each site visited were very unclear. To my knowledge he didn’t leave anyone behind but he seemed unconcerned when his passenger count leaving the heritage center was off what he thought it should be. Some passengers changed seats; maybe that threw him off. But on a cold, rainy day with most of the passengers over age 70, I would hope he would be sure he had everyone onboard.
