点评：1. Please understand that you must book a reservation for a specific time for your free visit in advance.
2. It is best to book one of the first admissions of the day.
3. Arrive at 8:00 am, which is 30 minutes before they open. Patrons will begin forming a line shortly thereafter.
4. At 8:30, the staff will admit you and scan the bar code you received in your reservation email.
5. You must immediately use the "manage booking" function in that email to book the free, very exclusive tour. If you do this quickly, you'll get a spot on the tour. If you wait an hour, or come later than about 9:00 am, it is unlikely you'll get a spot on the tour.
6. Later admission times may also mean you'll miss out on the other presentations made by scientists.
CERN's main function is scientific research and we are so fortunate that they share an overarching concept of their work with the public. FOR FREE. This museum is very well done and science-loving adults and students should find it very enjoyable.
CERN gets bonus points for the excellent sustainable landscaping filled with birds and a loud chorus of frogs. And what great architecture!
I'm not science-inclined, but it was a priority for me to experience this place and I walked away very impressed by the museum, the tour, the staff, and even the cafe.
